My husband is a guitarist and he was sure Diddy would pick one of them (I can't remember his name, but not the one who wore the funky glasses and did the weird dance, the other one). My husband was surprised when he picked Brockett and Jaila, since Brockett is white and Jaila is transsexual. It seemed like he did it as an afterthought. But aside from being the "token" white guy, Brockett is very talented and was, in my opinion, easily the best keyboard player there. It seemed to me that if he hadn't known that Jaila was a man he wouldn't have had to think about choosing her. She had the range and stage presence. Like you said, I'm still waiting to see if they make it to the actual tour. Anyway, I'm glad I stumbled upon your blog. I will definitely keep reading. Kind of like your racist by saying "Forget white people" and "black people are the ones that need the show". My point is, think of American Idol. Usually there are awesome artist who are black and I often think are the best on the show. Next thing you know, America votes the black people off. It's part of the show and it's "America's" decision, not some white dudes decision. Then to follow it up, the NAACP or other black people of power decide to make a huge uproar about the fact a black person didn't win the show, even though it's not a decision made by one white dude. Yet, P Diddy not only makes that sole decision constantly, but he precedes it with the fact it has nothing to do with the color of their skin. If that's not the case, why would he even say that? It was on his mind, so it is part to do with it. I get it, and like I said, I still love watching his shows but I think he needs to not act like such a racist towards white people. And then he kicked him off. That same day the fat black guy from day 26 kept messing up the dance routine while the white guy who got kicked off nailed all the dance moves, racist! Another thing happened that same season when he separated donnie from the group and promised to work on danity kane, day 26, and donnies album. But guess who got left out in the cold, thats right Donnie, racist!!!
